(giant isopod -shudder-)
Name: Tebeda
Type of creature: if a giant crab and a louse spawned and mutated into a really sneaky and ticked off critter.. Tebeda is born.
Diet: Hematophagy -- blood sucking sonova....
Purpose/Uses: Some consider the meat to be a delicacy (like crab meat) The only other use for it is to freak out the new guy on the ship.
Friend or Foe: It wants your blood, you want your blood, see..not your friend. It will kick those legs out to sting predator and prey alike.
Habitat and more: In the turbulent waters of Jarvos is this creature. On each succulent leg is a hook that sinks into its prey, using the temporarily paralyzing sting of those nasty hooks to disable its intended victim. Once it is latched on, it suctions the hole of a mouth onto the flesh and small needle -type 'teeth' break the skin (think multiple needles on a sewing machine, taptaptaptaptap) and draw the blood into it's mouth for consumption. Once sated, it disengages it's hooks and burrows itself in rock or sand beneath those waves to wait until the next meal.
Side Notes: I am making this up as I go. I also thought there might be less friendly land versions of these in sandy -desert type places just to be freaky on land too.

(Fish..walking..on land. Dude)
Name: Kalogeya
Type of creature: fish/lizard/frog/nastiness
Diet: carnivore fish, small animals/lizards,inscets,rodents- It's frog-like tongue darts out and with it a poisonous acidic, venom . It's other defense are the razor sharp 'fins' that are near unbreakable.
Purpose/Uses: the venom is useful in weapons making (poisons, darts, etc) Highly toxic, inedible, fins are also useful as rustic weapons.
Friend or Foe: If this is your friend, you got bigger problems than carnivorous fish on land.
Habitat and more: . Fresh water fish, likes hanging out in the muddy waters, waiting to jack something up.
Side Notes: I know y'all can do better, but I had to add it. That's just...nasty.
(( ok, because of the pictures I had to break the posts into 3. But,...YAY..Critters! )
