About Clan Ideology

1. Clan Elders, The oldest, wisest, and most experienced from each clan; one or two of which, serve on the High-Council of Saboria, usually including the Clan Leader, but not always. This is the smallest group of Saboria, and is represented in inner part of the cogs that make up each clan.
2. Warlords and Leaders, Each Clan has one Clan Leader and two Warlords. Sometimes the Clan Leader is also a Warlord. A Warlord who is Clan Leader and Elder must step-down as Warlord to serve on the High-Council. Succession is generally by vote of the clan.
3. Clansmen (workers, engineers, miners, etc), These are the specialists who keep the whole safe and running, the ones actually doing most of the jobs which need doing. They are held in high respect for while Leaders can plan things, it requires the Clansmen to make it happen!
4. Teachers and Trainers, Each Clan has a small number of Teachers and Trainers who pass on their knowledge to the younger generations. These folks often live and teach on schooling vessels kept in repair and supply by their Clans. Knowledge is as important as skill to the Saborians for both are required to survive in the Black.
5. Everyone else, The Backbone of the Clans and therefore Saboria, these are the children for whom everyone works, the men and women who raise them and do the cooking and the cleaning and the gardening to ensure their masses are strong enough to continue their survival. Without them, the machine would not work and thus, they are as highly valued as the Leaders.
You'll notice that each of the cogs overlap; That is because they each help one another. Of course, they might require a trade of skills or a swapping of daughters or trading of sharp minds and skilled workers to freshen their own clan's and perspectives. They've had to be MacGyver's and work together for thousands of years to survive the Nahili, they've gotten used to how it works. Everyone contributes and they work together. Family feuds and grudges happen, but ultimately the collective of Saboria is more important than any one individual or clan's goals.
Take note that each clan's cog is inside the larger cog of Saboria; That is because it is everyone else who supports the clans. The clans who support the Warlords (Vvai Council Heads) and the Elders. Each clan knows this and supports this, even if it's in their own slightly different ways.
More info welcome! Don't be afraid to add to this idea! (My brain get's tired too!)
