Tell us a random/odd fact about yourself. = Lo is a female, but I...I am a male. Is that odd?...
[ b]Tell us about one of your favorite RP moments.[/b] = I played a mage who could create magical weapons in a game called Taifera. He was a human freedom fighter(or a terrorist,) against the vampire regime. He sent a stone golem into town that wrecked a bunch of stuff, then battled some guardsmen who were PCs. And then the time I played a cat familiar in the same game, collecting orphans for his witch. Good times.
Describe your thoughts of this SL in five words. = A place for Lo finally?
Would you prefer a writing prompt = Sure, if someone feels they'd like to.

Category= Freelancer
Name = Lo Rheinhardt
Alias/Nicknames =
Age = 23
Status = Busy
Height = 5'2
Weight = 105
Eye Color = Dark Gray
Hair Color = Black
General Demeanor/Personality = Lo is often quiet and to the point, with an extreme that can be rather cold and stoic. However, beneath that she is generally warm hearted and caring.
Quirks = She has a tendancy to go starry eyed over new bits of technology, or unknown gadetry of ages past. And a tendancy to be a speed demon, be it land, sky, or vaccuum of space. Within is a healthy spirit of adventure and it sometimes shows in hazardous fashions.
Best Skills = Her greatest skill would be a solid knowlegde of mechanical engineering. Fixing engines is now her focus. Runner up is her skills weilding projectile wapons. Behind that, by a gnomes hair, is her skill at flying smaller, more maneuverable classes of ship via spatial awareness and knowledge of said ships. Last but not least, hand to hand combat;unarmed and bladed weapon. When you only weigh 105 pounds you better know how to use it.
General Skills = Lo can tinker on just about anything someone puts in her hand. She can draw up blueprints for any number of project types. She can machine up parts for just about anything, including weaponry and ammo. Her survival skills are top notch when planet side. And though she can be rather disagreeable to certain types, her diplomacy is pretty top notch. If you need a part for something, she either has it, or can get it.
Reputation = Generally, those that do know Lo know her as a rather skillfull galactic roadside mechanic. With her base of operation near Midway theres really no shortage of wayward travelers, just barely making it around in their space hoopties. This is Lo's reputation. However, the name Rheinhardt has an even more ellusive reputation, which is found exclusively within the aero/astronimical industry. And even then, history is history. The explanation is found below, in the long ass not so breif biobio. Sorry x.x
Brief (my ass) Bio = The Rheinhardt family was once rather large, with roots in farming. Somehwere they became good at mainainance of farm equipment and from there grew the clan of aviators known as the Rheinhardts. They took to space with a small outpost, something of a garage for the stars, where family members and employes took turns treking skywise to put in some work time. Growing up, Lo was one of these.
As a child she watched her father and various siblings at work. And she soaked in the family business like some sort of....absorbant...thing. With help she was riding various recreational land vehicles at five. By thirteen she was doing professional repairs on many different sort of engines and by fifteen she was regularily taking to the skies in both atmosphere dependant and non-atmosphere depandant aircraft. It was then on she would do the treck between their terra based operation, and their service station in the sky.
Meanwhile, her father had been working on something he'd been dreaming up. It was a new engine system. Not only could his system be used as a stand alone engine, but it could be made smaller to amplify the power output and efficiency of market propulsion. Coupled with excelent control over said power, maneuverabitlity also shot up. He made more then a few prototypes and the Rheinhardt name hit the wrenchers scene hard, with its confirmed and guaranteed one-hundred to two-hundred percent improved over all performance of your ship.
Lo figured all of this was being funded by the money they made from selling ships. Though, being one of the daughters, she was more or less kept in the dark about the fact that his prototypes were all funded by loans. Ignacious Rheinhardt...had met someone on the shady side of the galaxy. Or maybe they had come in for repair? Either way money was exchanged.
Loanshark, hearing word of the sucess of his investment, though paid, greedily sought for further payment...Of course, the Rheinhardts wouldn't have this, so, the conflict began. Not that it lasted long. It seemed the loanshark was in rather deep with a group of fast running, hard hitting raiders. And they did just that. Though, when it came down to it, when they said they wanted payment they ended up taking everything else.
It started in the garage orbiting Jovos. Then spread to a small spacecraft battle when it became quite obvious they would simply take everything there. When that was said and done, Lo lost a brother, a sister, two cousins and both her aunt and her uncle, as well as a few family friends and coworkers that were unfortunate enough to have been there. And that was simply to the void of space. Planet side...
Planet side was their base of operation. A few large hangers where there used to be farmland. Vehicles for both land and air parked about in various states of completion, and an airstrip. Today there were three rather large warships hoovering over head, creating a whirlwind of noise and debris. Lo couldn't quite make out their voices over the racket. They were yelling at eachother, but it came off as deceptively natural...
Her father, flanked by two brothers, two cousins, covered by a few others, outnumbered...Some distance, a little sister, her mother, Lo standing next to them. Seventeen, trying to make out what her father was saying to the gruff, decked out fellow she'd met maybe once before...and his armada...His arm lifts, eyes squint...Her father hits the ground without breath. It was a gun. Her brothers immediately jump in and start a fight, along with her cousins.
Lo just watched as hell broke lose. The others, employees and such, all turned to run off for their lives, while her family fought for theres. It seemed more a firing line, really. Fighting the front line worked for as long as it took for the ranks to fold in on them. Brother hit with the stock of a rifle, shot while he stumbled. Cousin, grabbing one of said rifles gets a few CQ shots off before he's stabbed. The other has about just as much luck.
Her elder brother, at that time, had also grabbed a gun and got a couple shots off, but he did so as he turned to retreat, taking shots himself before he dove behind a small tow trolly. Lo seemed in shock. Her mother had tride to pull her off as she turned to run with her sister, but would later recount the girl was like stone...Eyes wide, jaw agape...She was just standing there...
'Lo******! Lo******!,' he went to yelling from his spot. She had gone to watching him, with that wide eye gaze. He took the chance then, and darted from cover, to toss her over his shoulder and run off behind further cover. Their options were then limited to running, and give chase raiders did. But they would make the mistake of letting the remains of the family get into a small ship, of which their war ships could not catch. Saved by Javos herself.
'You shouldn't be making shady deals with raiders. There's really nothing we can do outside of what were all ready doing,' was the extent of their absolution. The raiders had taken everything of worth from the place. What they did leave was a younger sister, an older brother, and her mother. Her extended family had one left, a cousin.
They sold their property and moved, but Lo's mother didn't take to well to this. Her health declined, untill about a year and a half afterwards, she passed on, leaving the three siblings to fend for themselves. Not that it was hard, they had a particular set of skills, and they'd use them. Though, Lo's littles sister quickly took a rebellious turn. She left first. Leaving a note that said, 'screw this.'
Then there were two. Her older brother. The final little bit of her once proud family of mechanics and aviators...One day, he said this;'I can't take it anymore, Lo******. I see all of them whenever I look at you,' and then he left. With a hug and a wave. It seemed the Rheinhardts, instead of growing to be front runners in engine tech, scattered among the stars instead.
What did Lo do then? She kept the much smaller plot of land. Pulled a few old family favors, got herself a ship and started the business back up. Though, she would keep it much more low key. There were enemies about. This fact lead her to dive headlong into the world of hand to hand combat, and hone the shooting skills she'd once simply used for fun...She knew she would use them...someday.
Every so often Lo will hear wind of a certain group of raiders, with ships that you simply can not outrun. Ungodly demons of the vaccuum, doing impossible feats with their spacecraft. Every time she hears about them, disgust wells up in her. Every time she hears about them she thinks about revenge. Revenge, and justice, for the people who'd been chased down by her families creation.
